In the vein of inspiration, creativity, and the creative process, I was hoping to get to this post eventually. I never thought that it would be under such sad circumstances.
As a member of the so-called Generation X, it's more or less inconceivable to imagine a world without Robin Williams. Words like "mad," "manic," and "genius" are thrown about, but Robin always seemed to be operating beyond such generalizations.
When I read of Robin's passing, I was reminded of a memorable evening he spent on James Lipton's Inside The Actor's Studio. The brief excerpt below is a brilliant showcase of his instinctual, reflexive, and seemingly boundless creativity.
I'll miss Robin.
